Print Your Own Scene from Celtic & Irish Folklore

In this workshop, participants choose from a selection of hand carved stamps by James Sylvester based on characters and creatures from Celtic and Irish folklore to create their own hand printed scene.

Print Your Own Valentine

Print Your Own Valentine is a collaborative printmaking workshop where participants choose from a selection of vaguely love themed stamps carved by James Sylvester and create their own monoprints with them.

Nothing Can Stop the Wrath of the Easter Bunny! Except maybe… Jesus Risen from the Dead!

Participants take control of Eastern Bunny and Resurrected Jesus stamps carved by James Sylvester and make them fight for control of the holiday amongst the unsuspecting population of the world in this Easter inspired workshop.

Print Your Own Haunted House

‘Print Your Own Haunted House’ is a collaborative printmaking workshop where participants are given a linocut print of a haunted house and taught basic printmaking and masking skills so that they may customize their haunted house however they choose by printing in the empty spaces using an assortment of ghastly hand carved stamps made by James.

Dr. Stampenstein’s Monster Making Laboratory

A collaborative printmaking workshop where participants choose from a wide selection of hand carved stamps of monster heads, arms, legs, wings and more made by James and learn to combine them to create their own unique monster print. Performed in Congress Square Park and at The End of Portland, Maine in October 2024.

Thanksgiving Day Massacre Workshop

Make your own holiday cards for loved ones using pre carved stamps by James Sylvester featuring a gaggle of vengeful turkeys that have taken it upon themselves to give the pilgrims a taste of their own medicine.

Print Your Own Krampus

In this workshop, participants use a selection of hand carved stamps by James Sylvester to fill Krampus’ basket with naughty children.
